The Editorial Verdict
Outline is what you use when you want a wiki that doesn't feel like a wiki. The editor is Notion-quality, search is fast, and the permissions model is sensible. Requires a Postgres database and S3-compatible storage if you self-host, which is a bit more setup than BookStack. Worth it if polish matters.
